Asco, a leading UK-based materials management and logistics company for the global energy industry, has secured a landmark £150 million ($203 million) contract with a major North Sea energy operator, reinforcing its position as the leading logistics provider to the energy industry.
Under this five-year contract, Asco will deliver a full suite of integrated logistics services, including quayside operations, warehousing, materials management, marine gas oil, environmental services, aviation, customs, freight forwarding and ships agency.
This project win represents a major milestone for Asco, marking one of the largest and most comprehensive logistics contracts in its recent history.
It underscores industry confidence in Asco’s proven ability to deliver mission-critical support for complex offshore operations in one of the world’s most demanding energy environments.
"This is a transformational contract for Asco, both in scale and strategic importance," said its CEO Mike Pettigrew.
"It validates our deep expertise in the North Sea, where we have been operating for almost 60 years, and our ability to deliver end-to-end logistics solutions that are safe, efficient and resilient," he stated.
This latest award builds on a series of strategic wins in the North Sea, with long-term contracts secured in the UK and Norway in 2025 alone exceeding £450 million in value, he added.
Asco said it also reflects a broader industry trend toward integrated logistics solutions that streamline operations and improve efficiency.
The company’s approach - combining digital innovation with a sustainability-led model - has proven effective in helping operators manage complex offshore supply chains while maintaining a strong focus on safety and environmental responsibility, stated Pettigrew.
"We’re increasingly being recognised as a trusted partner in the global energy supply chain and are proud to play such a pivotal role in enabling safe and efficient offshore activity, while continuing to lead the way in supply chain transformation," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
