Iraq and Syria have agreed to explore the potential revival of the Kirkuk-Banias oil pipeline. This agreement was reached during discussions in Baghdad between Muhammed Al-Sudani, Iraq Prime Minister, and Mohammed Al-Bashir, Syria Minister of Energy.
The talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations across various sectors, particularly in energy, according to Iraqi News Agency (INA).
They examined collaborative opportunities to enhance oil and petrochemical projects along the Mediterranean coast, as well as strategies to tackle climate change and manage water resources in the Euphrates River Basin.
