Infrastructure development work in Aseer region on fast-track

Saudi authorities have announced that work is moving at a steady pace on the key infrastructure projects being developed in the kingdom's Aseer Region, reported SPA.

Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al Hogail is in the region on a two-day visit to oversee the ongoing projects.

This comes as part of a broader effort to advance development projects and align with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 for balanced and sustainable growth, stated the report.

During his visit, Al Hogail will launch new initiatives and sign agreements to boost the municipal services sector.

A key focus will be reviewing infrastructure projects aimed at improving the urban landscape and quality of life.

A key highlight of the visit includes signing of an agreement with the private sector for the operation and development of public parks and a cooperation agreement with King Khalid University to develop young talent for the municipal sector, said the SPA report.

Also the minister will be holding an open meeting with local investors to discuss opportunities in infrastructure and housing, and handing over keys to housing units for municipal employees, it added.
