Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) has announced the signing of a major contract with the National Water Company (NWC) for the construction of sewage networks in Al-Kharj Province, as part of Phase 7 of the development programme.

 

The contract, valued at SAR214.55 million ($57.21 million), covers the construction of more than 112 kilometres of sewage pipelines. The project is scheduled to be completed within 36 calendar months, accordig toa filing in the Saudi Stock Exchange.

 

The new sewage networks in Al-Kharj are expected to significantly improve sanitation coverage and service efficiency in the province, benefiting both residents and businesses as urban expansion continues.
