Atmosphere Core appoints new Senior VP Commercial

Atmosphere Core has appointed Michel Politano as Senior Vice President (VP) Commercial, overseeing comprehensive strategy across all commercial functions.

Stéphane Laguette, Chief Commercial Officer Atmosphere Core said, “As we expand our footprint and invest in long-term value creation, it’s essential to have the right leaders guiding the way. Michel will be well positioned to drive ongoing process improvements, while reinforcing the importance of business performance, and returns for owners. This promotion is a reflection of Michel’s impact, his strategic mindset, and our confidence in his ability to shape the commercial future of Atmosphere Core”.

Politano, originally from France, has over 20 years of experience in distribution, sales mastery, and restructured and organised local and international sales teams.

He has led efficiency and growth for the organisation. With over 20 years of experience, he has built expertise across the breadth of commercial operations, from identifying revenue and sales opportunities to refining digital marketing.

Since moving to the Maldives in 2022, Politano has overseen distribution and revenue management for the entire Atmosphere Core portfolio.

His leadership style combines commercial precision with emotional intelligence, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking culture.

He has played a central role in driving Atmosphere Core's commercial transformation, introducing innovative systems and processes, and delivering record-breaking revenue growth. Michel is known for creating clarity in complex environments and getting people on the same page.

“Throughout my career, I have gravitated towards opportunities where we build commercial frameworks from the ground up, rather than managing established ‘plug and play’ setups”, Michel Politano said when asked about his new role. “I’ve always believed in earning trust through what you do, not just what you say. Our commercial space is full of moving parts, but when you keep integrity and communication at the centre of it all, teams align, and results follow” he adds. -TradeArabia News Service
