Iraq announces $450bn investment opportunities at key summit

Iraq's Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani will be showcasing more than 160 promising investment opportunities across multiple sectors worth a whopping $450 billion at a key event in capital Baghdad, said a news report.
The dedicated conference will be held to present investment opportunities within the Development Road Project, the largest of its kind in the region, reported the Iraqi News Agency (INA), citing Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani.
The Iraqi Premier today (September 27) attended the Iraq Investment Forum in Baghdad. The two-day event will see top firms discuss more than 160 promising investment opportunities.
According to Sudani, the total investments have surpassed $100 billion, thus confirming the soundness of decisions to diversify Iraq’s investment environment.
