Roshn signs MoU with Center for Meteorology for climate-friendly communities

Roshn Group, Saudi Arabia's leading multi-asset class real estate developer and a PIF company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Center for Meteorology (NCM) to collaborate on fostering climate-resilient communities.
The MoU will contribute to the realisation of the kingdom’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The MoU aims to leverage NCM’s meteorological expertise and data to enhance Roshn Group’s response to climate changes within its developments, said the company.
This collaboration with the National Center for Meteorology is a significant milestone in Roshn Group’s ongoing journey to integrate sustainability planning and climate resilience in its developments. The partnership will focus on using advanced weather data and forecasting tools to address climate challenges in real estate projects and innovative city development and urban planning, it said.
By utilising the power of meteorological data, Roshn Group can ensure that its development & community management activities are adequately prepared for the potential challenges of tomorrow, the developer said.
