Collective Hub partners with French Embassy to launch media workshop

MANAMA, July 21, 2024

The Collective Hub, a business incubator supported by Bahrain’s Tenmou, has launched a workshop on film-making and photography in cooperation with the French Embassy in Bahrain.
 
The workshop, titled ‘All Things Media 2.0’ started on July 18 and will run till July 29. It has attracted a large number of participants including individuals interested in filmmaking and digital marketing.
 
Earlier, The Collective Hub signed a cooperation agreement with the French Embassy for the workshop during a visit of Eric Giraud-Telme, the Ambassador of France to Bahrain, to its headquarters in the Yateem Center complex in Manama. The agreement was signed by Abdul Rahman Al Kooheji, a member of the Board of Directors at The Collective Hub.
 
The French ambassador toured its innovatively designed offices and spaces crafted to provide an ideal environment for meetings and work, catering to entrepreneurs, project owners, and startups. The facilities also include designated areas for entrepreneurs and their diverse projects, spanning sectors such as e-commerce, digital marketing, and technology.
 
Khawla Alshaikh, Director of The Collective Hub, highlighted the hub’s cooperation with the French Embassy.
 
Alshaikh gave a brief note on the launch of “All Things Media 2.0" initiative by the hub’s partnership with the Labour Fund Tamkeen. The programme focuses primarily on Bahraini startups and creators, enriching their talent and developing their skills in media and the creative industry. 
 
The participants will showcase their work through high-level training programmes which would give them opportunity to participate in prestigious exhibitions, public events, and workshops in collaboration with various media agencies and embassies in Bahrain, she said. - TradeArabia News Service
