Alba, Injaz host skill development programme for kids

MANAMA, 5 days ago

For the second time this summer, Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), a world-leading aluminium smelter, has hosted a five-day summer camp for children of its employees in collaboration with Injaz Bahrain.

Held at the Alba Club from August 17 to 21, the camp welcomed children aged 7 to 13 and offered a dynamic program designed to spark creativity and develop essential life skills.

Key activities included Injaz Bahrain’s Innovation Camp Programme, Public Speaking sessions, and educational visits to the Ministry of Information and Albilad newspaper. A dedicated Sports Day was also held to promote teamwork and physical wellness.

On the final day, participants toured Alba’s industrial complex, gaining knowledge of the Company’s operations. Alba’s CEO, Ali Al Baqali, joined the closing session, where he addressed the children and presented them with gifts and certificates, said the statement.

This initiative builds on the success of a similar programme held in July 2025 for older children aged 14 to 17, that focused on career and leadership training.

Alba’s Summer Camps are part of its broader CSR strategy, reflecting the Company’s commitment to nurturing a culture of learning, innovation and youth empowerment in Bahrain, it added.
