The Bahrain Heart Failure Conference and Exhibition is set to make waves in the medical field when it debuts from June 9 to 10, 2023, at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel under the theme ‘Saving the Failing Heart’. 

 

This first-of-its-kind event will witness the participation of distinguished healthcare professionals and specialists in heart failure treatment, hailing from both within and outside Bahrain, along with cardiovascular professors from esteemed universities and international institutes. 

 

The event is being organised by ‘BDA’ for medical events, in collaboration with the Gulf Heart Association.

According to Dr Adel Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Heart Failure Conference and Exhibition, the event's primary objective is to facilitate the exchange of scientific knowledge and experience among researchers specialising in heart disease, diagnosis and treatment. 

 

The conference will feature the presentation of cutting-edge research findings and the latest treatment techniques in the field. Attendees will also explore topics such as cardiac electrophysiology and the potential use of electrophysiological catheters to address arrhythmias, as well as the management of rare heart diseases and tumors.

 

Dr Syed Raza, Head of the Scientific Committee, stated that the Bahrain Heart Failure Conference and Exhibition will feature several interactive sessions, where participants can engage in discussions related to various health and scientific topics. The aim is to establish a common understanding of these issues, prioritise them, and develop joint programs for the treatment of heart disease. The conference will also assess current systems and strategies in cardiac care, highlight successful experiences, and leverage them to create more effective regulations and legislation for hospitals and medical centres.
