Mitsumi Distribution opens new logistics centre in Dubai
DUBAI, February 7, 2023
Mitsumi Distribution, a leading distributor of information technology, telecom and enterprise solutions, has announced the opening of its advanced warehouse at Jebel Ali in Dubai.
The Mitsumi Logistics Centre (MLC), which is its second in the emirate, will serve as the central hub for its operations in the Middle East and Africa.
The facility boasts advance technology and equipment, including storage automation system, advanced security and real-time tracking.
At 75,000 sq ft, it can handle a substantial volume of goods and is equipped to meet the expanding demand for distribution and logistics services in the area, said a statement from Mitsumi Distribution.
This facility will serve as the second distribution centre for Mitsumi Distribution in Jebel Ali, elevating logistics to new heights. MLC was designed with safety and security in mind, it added.
According to Mitsumi, its IT transformational team worked together with Integral networks exectives to design and install a high-performance CCTV system, meeting or exceeding all SIRA requirements.
Productivity, efficiency and sustainability were among its first priorities, it stated.
Speaking at the launch, Chairman and CEO Jagat Shah said: "Mitsumi Distribution is excited to open this new facility in Jebel Ali, which will serve as a strategic hub for our MEA operations."
"It will enable us to offer our partners an even higher level of service and support, and we look forward to continuing to grow our presence in the region," he added.
Mitsumi has 24 offices in Middle East & Africa region and had recently opened ten new logistics and sales offices at key markets including Ivory coast, Cameroon, Senegal and Mauritania.-TradeArabia News Service
