Ritchie Bros puts up 1,300 equipment for sale at big Dubai auction

Global asset management and disposition company Ritchie Bros said its Middle East unit will be organising the third auction of the year from Dubai, featuring more than 1,300 heavy equipment and vehicles for sale.
A wide range of sizes, brands, and models of equipment catering to the construction, transportation, automative, oil and gas as well as mining sector will be up for grabs at the auction to be held on September 24 and 25 at its Jebel Ali Free Zone facility.
These include hydraulic excavators, articulated dump trucks, wheel loaders, telehandlers, forklifts, cranes and SUVs.
Ritchie Bros said the next week's event is a public auction with no minimum prices.
Some of the most noteworthy equipment to be put up for sale includes:
*2018 Cat 745 LRC Articulated Dump Truck
*2018 Cat 988K LRC Wheel Loader
*2018 Cat 349D2L Tracked Excavator
*2021 JCB 540-170 Telehandler
*2010 Komatsu HD465-7R Haul Truck
Apart from heavy machinery, there is a great variety of sport utility vehicles and pickup trucks that will go under the hammer at the Dubai event. These include:

According to Ritchie Bros, the entire list of lots for sale is available on its official website, including detailed descriptions of each item along with photos and videos.
The Dubai yard will be open for equipment inspection on September 19-24, from 8am – 5pm (including the weekend before the auction). Bidding will begin on September 18 and close on September 24 and 25 at individual times, said a company spokesman.
"Participating in Ritchie Bros auctions is very easy. Interested buyers just need to create an account on Ritchie Bros. website and register for the Dubai event. To enable bidding, a refundable deposit must be made either via bank transfer or a credit card," he explained.
"Bidding is exclusively online and will be open from September 18. This gives buyers time to assess their options and make purchasing decisions until the bidding closes on September 24 and 25, depending on the lot number," he added.
