"Everything Everywhere All at Once" won the coveted Best Picture trophy at the Academy Awards on Sunday as Hollywood embraced an off-kilter story about a Chinese-American family working out their problems across multiple dimensions.
The movie claimed seven awards overall, including three of the four acting Oscars for stars Michelle Yeoh (Actress in a Leading Role), Ke Huy Quan (Actor in a Supporting Role) and Jamie Lee Curtis (Actress in a Supporting Role). Yeoh played the lead role of a stressed-out laundromat owner who finds she has superpowers in alternate universes, said a Reuters report.
Brendan Fraser won the Actor in a Leading Role award for his role in “The Whale”.
India erupted with joy as the Original Song award went to 'Naatu Naatu Naatu' from Indian film 'RRR'.
“All Quiet on the Western Front” from Germany won the International Feature Film award. The movie also won the award for Cinematography.
“The Elephant Whisperers” won the award for Documentary (short). "Navalny" was chosen the winner in Documentary Feature. - TradeArabia News Service
