OEG to supply Peterson with 500 offshore containers

OEG, a leading energy solutions business, has secured a five-year contract with Peterson Energy Logistics in Den Helder for 500 offshore containers to support its operations in the Dutch North Sea sector.

The contract builds on a 10-year relationship, previously managed by the Norwegian team. The project will be managed from OEG's strategically located yard near Peterson's facility.

The DNV and ISO certified containers are known for their durability, strength, and adaptability to harsh environments.

The 500 refurbished units feature enhanced lashing points for faster loading and unloading, enhancing operational efficiency.

Peterson Den Helder will have flexibility to meet various logistical demands.

OEG's Den Helder yard space is a key component of the contract, offering a full-service offering, including ongoing maintenance and replacement of units.

Rob Goodall, OEG’s VP Africa, Caspian & Europe, said: “This is a major milestone in our longstanding partnership with Peterson in Den Helder. For the past decade, our global commercial director Gavin Collins and the team in Norway have provided exceptional service to their operations in The Netherlands, and we are committed to maintaining the same high standards of responsiveness and reliability through our port of Den Helder based capabilities. This seamless handover and localised approach ensure even closer collaboration and faster response times.

Goodall added: “OEG remains the leading supplier of DNV and ISO certified offshore containers around the world. With the largest fleet in the market strategically located, we play a key role in offsetting the industry's ongoing shortage of units. Our focus on service and operational excellence is a significant differentiator that continues to set us apart in a competitive market, and this five-year contract with Peterson Den Helder reaffirms the trust our customers place in us.” -OGN / TradeArabia News Service
