DUBAI, 28 days ago
Etihad Airways Engineering, one of the world's leading aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services providers, has announced that it has signed a strategic agreement with L3Harris Technologies (L3Harris) at the ongoing MRO Middle East expo in Dubai.
Under this deal, Etihad Engineering will be L3Harris’ licenced repair centre for cockpit voice recorders and flight data recorders in the Middle East.
The agreement would further enhance Etihad Engineering’s component repair and overhaul capabilities, adding to its comprehensive aircraft MRO services offered from its state-of-the-art facility in Abu Dhabi, and open greater market opportunities for L3Harris in the region.
On the deal, CEO Daniel Hoffmann said: "We are excited about the opportunity to support L3Harris as their licenced repair centre in the Middle East. This strategic partnership would strengthen our component portfolio and enable us to offer OEM-level service and faster lead times on L3Harris aircraft components to our customers from around the world."
"L3Harris is excited to strengthen our collaboration with Etihad Engineering through this new Licensed Repair Centre agreement," said Simone Totti, Head of Avionics Aftermarket Sales at L3Harris Technologies.
"This partnership not only expands our ability to deliver high-quality, efficient service to our customers in the Middle East but also enhances our regional support capabilities, ensuring faster turnaround times and continued excellence in component repair and maintenance," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
