Pegasus Airlines wins award for 2nd youngest aircraft fleet

LONDON, 2 days ago

Pegasus Airlines has received the World’s 2nd Youngest Aircraft Fleet Award 2025 in the ‘100+ aircraft in their fleet’ category by ch-aviation, further solidifying its position as one of the most modern and efficient airlines.

Building on its 2024 ranking as the world’s 4th youngest fleet, Pegasus continues to invest in next-generation aircraft with improved fuel efficiency and a strong focus on sustainability.

Pegasus continues to expand its fleet to support its growing network, which spans 146 destinations across 53 countries.

Now 118-aircraft strong, Pegasus Airlines’ fleet has an average age of just 4.5 years as of 31 December 2024.

Investment in next-generation aircraft plays a significant role in the airline’s sustainability and net zero 2050 targets, reducing fuel consumption and enhancing the overall travel experience for it guests.

Pegasus will continue to receive deliveries from its Airbus A320 family order of a total of 150 aircraft until 2029.

In December 2024, the airline placed a landmark order with Boeing for a total of 200 Boeing 737-10 aircraft (100 firm, 100 optional), for delivery from 2029 onwards.

Pegasus Airlines’ long-term strategy is centred around sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and technological innovation.-TradeArabia News Service
