Nikki Beach Koh Samui will reveal Signature Palm Villas in December

MIAMI, 1 hours, 59 minutes ago

Nikki Beach Hospitality Group has announced that Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Koh Samui, the island’s premier luxury beachfront destination, will unveil its Signature Palm Villas this December following a complete transformation of the Garden Villas.

The relaunch marks the first phase of a property-wide refresh taking place over the next 5 years, with the resort’s 32 remaining suites set to be refurbished in 2026.

Sixteen Signature Palm Villas will debut with an elevated design and an enhanced focus on creating bespoke experiences for couples, in line with Nikki Beach’s “Celebrate Life” philosophy.

Every element of the guest journey has been considered, from custom in-room playlists to signature cocktails in the villa bars, ensuring every stay feels like its own special occasion.

The new villas will introduce several standout features, including MyBar, an elevated in-villa private bar concept offering the largest selection of wines, local spirits, and liqueurs in Koh Samui, allowing guests to mix their own cocktails.

Stays will also include the option to book a BBQ experience with a private chef on the villa’s terrace.

Designed by Remi Viale, Global Brand Architectural & Interior Design Manager for Nikki Beach Hospitality Group, the refreshed interiors draw deeply from Koh Samui and Thailand’s cultural heritage and aesthetic.

Each villa is furnished entirely with custom-made, handcrafted pieces, many in teak, a noble wood emblematic of Asia and renowned for its durability in tropical climates.

The mobile minibar is wrapped in a handwoven synthetic rattan pattern, paying homage to traditional artisanal techniques, while sun loungers feature distinctive sphere-shaped wooden legs.

Touches of green appear throughout, from headboards to sofa fabrics, echoing the lush tropical gardens that surround the villas and creating a seamless visual connection between indoors and outdoors.

The design blends artisanal craftsmanship with discreet modern comforts, including adjustable lighting for multiple ambiance.

“My main source of inspiration for the villas is deeply rooted in local culture. I drew from the strong symbols of Koh Samui and Thailand, reinterpreting them in a contemporary way within my designs,” shared Remi Viale. “The goal is for our guests to feel truly transported, immersed in an atmosphere that captures the essence of the island and allows them to fully embrace that feeling of being somewhere special.” -TradeArabia News Service
