The Red Sea, 11 hours, 23 minutes ago

InterContinental The Red Sea Resort, located on Shura Island in Saudi Arabia, is set to redefine contemporary luxury with 210 rooms and suites that offer views of the Red Sea and surrounding landscapes.

The resort's design, crafted by Foster + Partners and Kristina Zanic Consultants, blends minimalist elegance with a deep connection to nature, encouraging exploration, reflection, and reconnection.

The resort features curved facades and open, fluid interiors that echo the surrounding landscape and architecture, while natural textures are paired with handcrafted details for warmth and authenticity.

Curated artworks by celebrated Saudi creatives are woven throughout the resort, paying tribute to the Kingdom's artistic legacy.

The culinary programme at the resort offers a vibrant fusion of local traditions and international flavours, with Executive Chefs Feras Sharif AlNatsheh and Raamin Samiyi leading the culinary programme.

The resort also offers activities such as windsurfing, paddleboarding, and sailing, as well as snorkelling and diving excursions beneath the crystal-clear sea.

Guests can unwind at the outdoor pool or along the pristine beach, taking in the natural beauty while enjoying resort facilities designed for comfort and leisure.

The holistic wellness offer includes SPA InterContinental, combining modern therapies and traditional treatments, complemented by a state-of-the-art fitness centre and peaceful relaxation areas.

Planet Trekkers Club, the signature kids' club, sparks creativity and curiosity through immersive island-inspired activities, while providing parents peace of mind while they unwind.

Meetings and events facilities span 180 square meters of indoor function space and over 240 square meters of scenic outdoor areas, perfect for intimate gatherings and larger celebrations.

Club InterContinental offers elevated experience with private check-in, exclusive lounge access, thoughtfully curated culinary moments, and personalised service in a calm, refined atmosphere.

Sustainability and regenerative tourism will be at the core of the resort experience, with eco-conscious design and operations and thoughtfully curated guest activities preserving and honouring the surrounding environment and local culture, it said.

InterContinental The Red Sea Resort will offer guests more than just a stay, it will be a journey into the soul of the extraordinary destination of Shura Island” said Francesco Pantalone, General Manager. “From immersive experiences shaped by the natural environment to thoughtful design rooted in wellbeing and culture, we look forward to creating moments of connection, discovery, and inspiration for every guest.” -TradeArabia News Service
