Akurateco teams up with DineroPay to transform Saudi mobile payments

RIYADH, 3 days ago

Akurateco, a global payment software provider with a strong presence in the Mena region, has joined forces with DineroPay, a rising Payment Service Provider (PSP) in Saudi Arabia, to drive innovation in the rapidly evolving mobile payments sector.

This partnership has resulted in the successful deployment of advanced mobile wallet solutions, including Apple Pay, and Google Pay, tailored specifically to meet the needs of the Saudi Arabian market, said a statement from Akurateco.

The collaboration reflects the growing importance of mobile payments in the Middle East, a region swiftly transitioning toward digital-first financial solutions.

According to IMARC Group, Saudi Arabia’s mobile payment market reached $24.7 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.3% through 2033.

Akurateco and DineroPay are strategically positioned to capitalize on this growth by delivering secure, scalable, and regionally compliant payment innovations.

A key achievement of this partnership is the implementation of an on-premises payment infrastructure hosted on Oracle Cloud, ensuring full compliance with the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) requirements for data localization, said the company in its statement.

This robust setup not only supports regulatory adherence but also enables scalability and performance optimization for DineroPay’s expanding operations, it stated.

Central to the innovation is the use of network tokenization technology. By replacing sensitive card details with secure tokens, the solution minimizes fraud risks and enhances the overall security of mobile transactions.

With Akurateco’s white-label gateway, DineroPay now supports multiple approaches to token decryption, offering businesses flexibility in optimizing payment flows and increasing approval rates, said the statement.

This partnership exemplifies how technology can drive digital transformation in a region poised for significant growth. By aligning their expertise, Akurateco and DineroPay are shaping the future of mobile payments in Mena, empowering businesses and consumers with cutting-edge solutions, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
