Mace Group achieves new milestone at Manchester Airport

LONDON, 1 days ago

Mace Group, a global construction business headquartered in London, has announced that it has delivered the newly opened Terminal 2 departure lounge, a key moment in the £1.3 billion ($1.74 billion) transformation of one of the UK’s busiest airports.

This marks a major step in the 10-year journey to more than double the terminal’s size and elevate the passenger experience.

From upgraded taxiways and road access to a reimagined check-in and baggage journey, every detail reflects precision, collaboration, and quality, said the top construction group in a statement.

The new lounge welcomes travellers with a vibrant mix of global and local brands including LEGO, Rituals, UpperCrust, Pandora, Starbucks, and Joe & The Juice, with more exciting openings to come, it stated.

Nigel Cole, Managing Director for Infrastructure at Mace, said: "Delivering a transformation of this magnitude has demanded dedication, collaboration and a relentless focus on quality. Terminal 2 will now stand as a true gateway to the north, offering a significantly enhanced journey for millions of passengers."

"As we move into the next phase of this transformation, we’re proud to be connecting people, places, and possibilities like never before," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
