Maire secures $3bn EPC deals for big petrochemical projects

Maire, a leading provider of integrated engineering and  construction solutions for the downstream market, has announced that its key subsidiaries - Tecnimont, KT-Kinetics Technology and Nextchem  - have secured contract awards to the tune of $3.5 billion for major energy projects across the globe.
 
According to Maire, the scope of work includes provision of engineering, procurement and construction services for petrochemical and hydrotreating projects, as well as high value engineering services for a waste to chemical project.
 
These projects have been granted by prominent international clients in South Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa and in Central Asia and will be carried out by Maire’s Integrated E&C Solutions and Sustainable Technology Solutions business units, it stated.
 
The engineering activities for these projects have already started, it added. 
 
On the contract win, Miare CEO Alessandro Bernini said: "We are very pleased for these new awards which will significantly diversify our geographical footprint and confirm our capabilities in executing large complex projects as well as our technological know-how to support clients in their decarbonization path with innovative, sustainable solutions."
